Please stop in the library or send Mrs. DInino an email to sign up for the next Book Club in December.  We are reading a work of fantasy!

The next newspaper meeting will be Tuesday, Dec. 2nd, after school, in Mrs. Norton's room.

The next 7th and 8th grade Student Council meeting will be on Wednesday, Dec. 10th, after school, in Mrs. Norton's room.

Student Council will be holding a Hat Day on Friday, December 5th.  All proceeds will go to benefit the family of Aurora-Colleen, "Rory", Lewis, a little girl who was born on June 25th, 2013.  Rory was diagnosed with Tay-Sachs, an extremely rare genetic disorder. Proceeds raised will help with the family's financial hardships due to medical expenses. Please help to make this the best Hat Day ever!

Full band and chorus rehearsals will be during Allied Arts.  Full band will be periods 1, 3, and 7; full chorus is 2, 4, and 8.

Tomorrow is Veteran’s Day.  Do you know why this day is so important?  Do you know any veterans?  Take a moment to thank a Veteran for their service to our country and freedom.  

Cheering tryouts begin today. They will continue on Wednesday, November 12th and Thursday, November 13th. Students MUST come to all three days of tryouts. Interested students should sign up with Ms. Adams' in Room 7 this week. Thanks again!

Wednesdays Chess Club meets during 2nd Quarter in room 98.

Wednesday, November 12th, Civil Rights Team will meet in room 56. Anyone is welcome to attend!

Friday, November 14th, Student Council will be holding a Hat Day.  All proceeds will go towards the purchase of teddy bears and blankets to donate to local fire departments.  These items are given to children during crisis situations.


Math Practice, for our math meet, will be on November 12th, 19th and 25th - after school in room 84 - 2:15 - 4:00

Student Council collects metal tabs all year long to donate to the Ronald McDonald House in Portland.  Students may bring in the tabs and put them in the large jar in the library. Please click the following link to find out how the tabs are used.  Thanks in advance for your help!


Student Council will be collecting items to supply Catherine's Cupboard,  a local food pantry, from Wed., Nov. 12th until Tuesday, Dec. 2nd. Donations will be made in 7th and 8th grade homerooms/clans. (6th grade will be collecting items for a local animal shelter).  Boxes will be provided to homerooms.  Please make sure that items are non-perishable; toiletries are acceptable.

Reminder:  Tuesday, November 11th there is No School.
