White Day

A message from Count Me In Maine:

Just a few missed days here and there, even if they are excused can add up to too much lost learning time.  This is true in kindergarten as it is in high school.  http://countmeinmaine.org/site/

Did you know that during World War I, on this day in 1914, the sounds of rifles firing and shells exploding faded in a number of places along the Western Front in favor of holiday celebrations in the trenches and gestures of goodwill between enemies.  Songs were shared and even soccer games were played between enemies.

Winter Pathfinders starts tomorrow Tuesday the 16th after school.  Any pathfinders that have not turned in their paperwork to Mr. Davis do it ASAP.

You can now order your yearbook ONLINE? Super easy and no paper to lose in your backpack. Log on to JostensYearbooks.com to order only $25! You won't want to miss this year's edition, so place your order today! Ordering envelopes are also in the front office and in your homebase.

Green Day

A message from Count Me In Maine:

Please make sure your child is in school every day, right up until vacation starts.  Our teachers will be teaching and the students will be learning.  But it’s harder to teach and it’s harder to learn when too many students are absent.  It means the teacher has to repeat lessons for students who missed school and that means loss of learning opportunities for the other students.  http://countmeinmaine.org/site/

Congratulations to the Full 8th Grade chorus.  They had an amazing concert with the high school select chorus.
