Announcements:
  • Today is a Hat Day tomorrow - pay a dollar, wear a hat!  All proceeds will go to benefit a family living in the district who recently lost all of their belongings in a house fire.
  • 7th and 8th graders:  Thank you for all of the reading and reviewing for the YAC program.  Here are the last winners for this month!
  • Weekly Trash Talk:  Remember to Drink ALL of your liquids at lunch, or donate your unopened container to the Share Table, or at least dump remaining liquid in the white pails in the cafeteria.
  • BEMS is holding its first annual piano recital in the band room. Interested students should see Mrs. Linnell for an application..  The deadline is March 1st.
  • Yearbooks are now $25 for hardcover or $20 for paperback — order ahead of time so you are guaranteed to get one! (Go to jostens.com or see Mr. DeMaris in Room 83.)

  • There is Indoor track practice is for girls and boys today.

  • The District Jazz Festival has been postponed to Wednesday, February 10th.  Same time and place.  We will have jazz band rehearsal after school on Tuesday.  See Miss Shabo if you have any questions.

  • BEMS is holding its first annual piano recital in the band room.  This is an opportunity for students who are pianists, but not necessarily in band or chorus, to show their talent.  Interested students should see Mrs. Linnell for an application and more information.  The deadline to sign up is March 1st.
  • Friday will be Hat Day for students and staff. Wear a hat, pay a $1.00.  All money collected will be used to purchase a gift certificate to Hannaford to help a family in the district that has recently undergone a traumatic event.

    STUFF THE BUS this Saturday at Plummer's Shop 'n Save for the District Backpack program. 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. The MSAD #6 Transportation Department is collecting non perishable food items to help with the 160 students on the program each week. Donate healthy food and snack items that students are able to prepare themselves. (ex: mac & cheese, granola bars, juice boxes, canned items). No glass or candy please. Let's get together as a community and help the kids!
