Announcements:
  • 7th Grade Baseball/Softball-Tryout Dates:  Tuesday 4/5/16, Wednesday 4/6/16, and Thursday 4/7/16,  8th Grade Baseball/Softball -Tryout Dates: Wednesday 4/6/16, Thursday 4/7/16, Tuesday 4/12/16, and Wednesday 4/13/16, Outdoor Track -Will begin on 4/12/16.,
  • Girl's Lacrosse-  Practices begin on 4/6/16 and 4/7/16. ( Participants will take a bus to and from Jack Memorial on these days.  Activity busses will bring the participants home after practice these days.), Boy's Lacrosse-  Practices begin on 4/11/16. (Participants will take a bus to and from Jack Memorial for the week.  Activity busses will bring the participants home after practice these days.)

  • There will be no lego club meeting this Wednesday March 30
  • The voting for the Maine Student Book Award begins today!  If you have read 3 titles from that collection, please stop in the library today, tomorrow, or Wed.  The totals will be sent in this Thursday!
  • Spring sports will begin next week.  Specific start dates will be announced soon.
  • Congrats to the BEMS Indoor Track Team for coming in first place at this past Saturday's track meet against Gorham and Windham.  Kudos to all of the members who participated!
  • Weekly Trash Talk:  Remember to Drink, Donate, or Dump your liquids!
  • Community Service will meet today.
  • Garden Club every other Tuesday

Announcements:
  • BEMS Boy's and Girl's Lacrosse Informational/Registration meeting will take place tonight, Monday, March 28 at 5:30 in the Cafeteria.

    Congratulations to Meaghan Champagne for being the overall winner at the Math Meet.  Congratulations to Andrew Belanger, Macy Cabral, Nico Jalbert, Logan Tilburg, Emmaline Pendleton, Brianna Gannett, Audrey Ricker, Elizabeth Forrestierre for their placing at the math meet.
  • Community Service will meet on Tuesday.

Spring Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on
Wednesday, March 30th and Thursday, April 7th.  They will be held from 4 pm - 7 pm.

Announcements:
  • The track team needs to meet at the middle school at 5:00 on Saturday to head into Portland for their meet.  Go, Scots!
  • A reminder to students and staff going to the Regional Fine Arts Program next Monday in Biddeford, bus will leave BEMS at 7:45 and remember to bring your lunch.
  • Attention all band and chorus members.  We will be taking yearbook photos today at the beginning of your first allied arts class.  Please report to the lowlands gym at beginning of your first allied arts class.

Announcements:
  • Starting next week students who are attending study club must report to the library at first dismissal. Signing up for Learning Lab is still the same procedure as before - students must sign up in the main office prior to dismissals.  Once Learning Lab is full, it is full.   A teacher will be posted at the library to check in students at first dismissal.   
  • Creative Writing Club is cancelled this Wednesday.
  • Dance Club will meet on Wednesday this week, not Tuesday, in the cafeteria after school
  • Boys AND Girls track team will have practice on Tuesday.  
  • Picture Day for Track is on Tuesday, so please remember to bring your uniform and picture envelope with payment that day.

    Bonny Eagle High School

    Eighth Grade Transition Night
    March 9, 2016
    6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

    Bonny Eagle High School is hosting its annual event for incoming ninth graders.  All students and their families are encouraged to explore the building, meet teachers from every department, and see all that BEHS has to offer.

    There will be a number of interactive activities for the entire family:

    • Participate in a scavenger hunt through all of our academic departments where teachers will be available to answer questions and items will be on display.
    • Visit our athletics and activity fair.
    • Take a guided tour of the building.
    • Hear about life at BEHS from a panel of students.
    • Attend a presentation on proficiency-based education and grading by the administration.
    • Meet with school counselors to learn about navigating high school and the beginning of post-secondary planning.

    The clan with the most students in attendance will win an ice cream sundae party!

Track practice has been cancelled for today.
