Announcements:
1) Garden club will begin meeting next week.
2) Chess club meets in room 98 every Wednesday after school.
3) The school newspaper website is up and running! You can go to bit.ly/BENewsNet to read all the latest stories from our middle school. There will always be more news, so check back often!
4) Information on Ski and Snowboard Club will be coming soon. Please check our website www.bonnyeagle.org regularly.
5) Bonny Eagle Middle School Hockey Registration is open to all 5-8th grade students Monday, October 3rd at BEMS Library 6:00-7:30pm
6) Community Service club will meet next Tuesday, October 4th. Please meet in the office after second wave.

Intramural field hockey will start next Tuesday, Oct 4th! For 6th grade
girls, or 7th and 8th graders who want to try a new sport. E-mail Ms.
Atkinson if you are interested. Or, ask your clan leader for a flyer
with all of the information. See Ms. Atkinson in Rm 52 with any
questions.
8) 7th grade Student Council will be meeting in Mrs. Norton's room (room 39) after school on Tuesday, Oct. 4th.

Fall Sports Team Pictures will be on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016. We will
be using Lifetouch for these photos. Pamphlets will be sent home this
week.
10) The 7th grade field hockey team had a convincing win last night against
Westbrook. Shayla Harriman, Molly Sawyer, and Gabby Sawyer each had
goals for the Scots who dominated the game. Emma Burnham continued to
impress at midfield and Shayla Harriman had her best game of the season
so far. The Lady Scots will look to keep improving with three away games
next week. Let's get 'em girls! Way to be a Scot!

Yearbooks are on sale! From now through Columbus Day, preorder a
yearbook for four dollars off the standard price. They usually cost $25
for hardcover or $20 for softcover; right now, order them for $21 or

cash or check. Make checks out to BEMS Yearbook. Get one while they're
cheaper!
12) On Thursday, October 6th the PBIS committee will be hosting a 7th and 8th grade dance from 6:30-8:30
The cost will be $5 at the door. Pizza and water will be on sale for
$1. Basketball, jumprope, and other activities will also be available
for students who don't want to dance.
