Announcements:
~The
schools across the district are working together to help the school
children in Florida who have been affected by Hurricane Irma. Superintendent
Penna has been in contact with SAPPI (Westbrook), as they are also
doing a collection of goods and have access to trucks and contacts who
will distribute and store collected items. We have until Sept 29th to
collect our items. Please see the flyers in the classroom as to
suggested items to collect. Each clan will have a designated collection
box.
The campaign will begin Today, Monday, Sept. 18th, and end on Friday, Sept. 29th. Please help us to help others!
~To
clear any confusion, there is only ONE Hat Day - it is This Friday,
Sept. 22nd. All proceeds will benefit Hurricane victims. Student
Council will be distributing envelopes for money collection on Thursday,
Sept. 21st.
~Beginning
Today, Monday, Sept. 18th, tickets for the 6th grade dance will be sold
each morning in the 6th grade lobby. The dance will be on Th., after
school, and tickets are $5.00 each. The dance is right after school
and students may take their activity bus home. Refreshments will be
sold at the dance. Student Council is sponsoring the dance and all
proceeds will go to help our school and our community.
