Indoor Track Practice begins for girls today; and boys 

AND girls on Wednesday and Thursday. Athletes must 

make sure that they turn in their completed Parent/Athlete 

Agreement Sheet and Emergency Medical Inf. Sheet 

to Mrs. Norton asap.

Spring Sports Sign-ups will take place next week.  The 

link on the Athletics web page will open on Monday and 

stay open for the week.  It is important that you sign-up 

to be on the tryout rosters. All potential athletes must 

sign-up using their Bonny Eagle email accounts.

It’s Reading Celebration Month - Read for 20 minutes 

every day!

Today’s Reading Celebration gift certificate winners, 

please go to the main office to pick up your prize:  

Abbey Farley, Susie Travis, and Bradley Winship.

Friday is Hat Day!  Bring $1 to wear your favorite hat.  

The Great Scot Book Swap is coming soon.  Bring in 

your gently used favorite books from home, and take 

them to the library.  In exchange, you will be invited to 

the Book Swap party next Friday. Swap your books for 

ones that others have brought in.  Enjoy some snacks, 

and be entered into drawings for more great books. 

Don’t miss out. Bring your books in this week.

Swim Club begins today. All participants that have signed up 

should report to the Murchie Gym after 2nd wave. You will 

then head to St. Joe’s for practice.

Volunteers are always needed for various projects within
the school. Book fairs, library volunteers, field trips, field
days, staff appreciation meals, etc. Please consider volunteering.
Please complete the school volunteer application that can
be found on our district webpage and send it
to the office. We appreciate and welcome all.

Yearbooks are currently on sale.  Get yours now for only 

$25; remember your friends forever!

Newspaper Club meets today.

There will be no golf after school on Wednesday, 2/13.

Spirit Week this week!  Show your spirit and 

help your clan to win!

• Wednesday (Camo/Flannel Shirt Day)
• Thursday (red or pink) Valentine’s day
• Friday (Green and White)
• NO PJS the entire week
• At least shirt or pants must match dress up 
  day theme in order to count
  
  

Have you turned in your waiver, permission slip and money 

for B.E.M.S. Day?  If not, it is due by this Friday, February 15th.

The Great Scot Book Swap is happening now.

Bring in your used books.  Drop them off in the library with Ms. Dinino.  

For each book you will receive a ticket to participate in the Book Swap, 

and be entered into a drawing.

2.) And should be books you have truly enjoyed

And then… March 8th

Come to the Great Scot Book Swap! Join many others in the 

library to swap great books, have some snacks, and win 

prize drawings.     

It’s that time of year to clip clip clip those box 

tops.  We are having a box top competition. All tops are due 

in on February 25th.  The top student will get your choice of 

two books and the top homeroom teacher will receive two books 

from the BEMS Parent Community Councils stash.  Clip, Clip, Clip BEMS.
