Student Council is sponsoring “Spirit Days” each day 

until Tuesday, December 22nd! Show your school spirit 

by participating! This week:

    • Monday, December 14th - “School Color/School Spirit Day”

    • Tuesday, December 15th -  “Sunny-Funny Day” (dress as though it’s summer!)

    • Wednesday, December 16th - “Wacky WednesDay”

    • Thursday, December 17th - “Holiday Spirit Day”


There will be no Community Service Club meeting this week.

 

The Bonny Eagle Ski & Snowboard Club is Back! 

Enjoy some winter fun! Packets are available in the 

main office! If you have any questions, see Ms. Notz in room 107.

 

The  Winter Pathfinders meeting for today, Tuesday 

Dec. 15 is cancelled. Our next meeting for BE students 

will be after the Winter break. See our google classroom 

for more information.

7th & 8th grade students who are interested in joining the Winter pathfinders team 

should come to our informational meeting after school this week on Tuesday for 

BE students, or Thursday for SCOTS students in room 129. The winter team is 

co-ed, so boys or girls are welcome! All students staying after school will need 

to be picked up by 4:00 after the meeting by a parent or guardian. Those

 students who have already filled out our student survey (at Pathfinders @BEMS)  

will find an invitation from Mr. Avery in the school email. See Mr. Avery in 

rm. 129 if you have any questions!

 

For the month of December, Yearbooks are now on sale for $25, so get them for 

this low price while you can! Go to room 154 and see Mr. DeMaris, or order 

online at jostens.com. Anyone who orders a yearbook in December enters

will be on Mondays and Tuesdays: December 14th, 15th, 21st, and 22nd.  

Teachers will have the information of what to wear and which day - the 

days will be in this order:School Color/School Spirit Day”; “Sunny-Funny 

Day” (dress as though it’s summer!); “Wacky WednesDay”; and “Holiday 

Spirit Day”.  Show your school spirit by participating!!

 

As you know, the cold and stormy months of Maine’s brutal Winters have begun. 

With this in mind, the Community Service Club and the 7th/8th Grade Student 

Council would like you to remember our Scots Neighbors who are in need of 

our help putting food on their tables during this long Winter Season. You 

can help them out by donating non perishable canned & boxed food and 

personal hygiene items. Drop-off boxes are located in each Clan Leader’s 

room! Help us to make the final week our food drive a success by 

donating whatever you can.

 

Chorus students should go to the band room for class.  Make sure you have 

your laptops, headphones or earbuds and a pencil.  8th Grade Music class 

will be in the band room also, but the 7th Grade Music class will be on the 

stage.  Both classes need laptops.

 

The 8th Grade Math Meet will be held online at 3:00 Today. Contact 

Ms. Tremblay for more information.

Pathfinders Teams Now Organizing!

BEMS Pathfinders, an outdoor adventure program, is now 

accepting applications. How do students apply? Go to 

Pathfinders@BEMS and fill out the 

Pathfinder Student Participation Survey   Get outside! 

 

Are you interested in history?  Do you like to research?  Do you want 

an academic challenge?  If you answered "YES" to any of those 

questions, you may want to participate in Maine History Day.  Ask 

your social studies teacher for the sign-up link.

 

Sign-ups for Winter 1 sports will occur from November 30 -  December 11. 

 BEMS offers Basketball and Cheering for 7th and 8th grade students.  

Students will need to sign up online using their @bonnyeagle.org 

email on the Athletics Web page.  Check with your teacher if you 

have any questions.

 

The Community Service Club will meet on Wednesday, December 

2nd, at 3:30 on Google Meet. Use the link on the Google Meet 

Invite that you received.

 

Attention BEMS Scots. As colder months begin to settle in 

on us, the Community Service Club and the 7th/8th Grade 

Student Council would like you to take a moment to think 

about members of our Community who are in need of our 

help to put food on their tables during the long Winter Season.

 You can help them out by donating non perishable canned 

& boxed food goods and personal hygiene items.  Drop-off

boxes are located in each Clan Leader’s room! The drive 

will continue until Thursday, Dec. 10th.
