The 2020 BEMS Swim Club is open for enrollment. If you have
any questions, contact Mr. Laprise at BEMS.

The Garden Club’s next meeting will be on Monday
(Feb. 3) in room 107.

Indoor Track will begin next week on Tuesday (2/4). Practices
will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for boys AND girls.
Please come prepared to run!

Wrestling begins on Monday, February 3. All participants
need to report to the Lowlands Gym after second wave next Monday.

We are pleased to announce that the recent BEMS "Hat Day" raised
$1720.00 for the Oates family of Standish. Two gift cards were
 purchased for Zach Dubiel. a former BEMS student (he lost his
step-dad and brother as a result of the recent car accident); a $100.00
gift card to Irving Gas and a $150.00 card to Hannaford.  $1470.00
was donated to the GoFundMe account that was created to assist
the family during this difficult time. 
Thanks to all who helped to raise this money!

The students of Room 107 Sewing Class with Ms. Kim are in 

the process of making a quilt to be raffled off. The money raised 

will be donated to Mr. Dan Warrick, custodian of Edna Libby. 

Tickets will be $1 each or $5 for 6 and may be purchased in room 107.

Competition was fierce at the Solinger Memorial Tournament in 

Bangor on Saturday. Chess Team had 6 players who finished on 

3 points out of a possible 4. Christopher Byrne secured 3rd place 

with 3.5 points.

The Harlem Wizards are coming to town! Come join this entertaining 

event and watch Mrs. Reisbeck, Mr. Oyster, Mr. Harris, Mrs. Duhamel, 

Mr. Vachianno, and Mr. Drinkwater go up against these entertaining pros! 

There will be many laughs as you watch your teachers and principals get 

“schooled.” Wednesday, January 15th is the big show at BEMS! Ticket 

Order form can be picked up in the Main office. This will sell out.

entertaining event and watch Mrs. Reisbeck, Mr. Oyster, Mr. Harris,
Mrs. Duhamel, Mr. Vachianno, and Mr. Drinkwater go up against these
entertaining pros! There will be many laughs as you watch your teachers
and principals get “schooled.” Wednesday, January 15th is the big

the Oates family who recently lost their son, Owen, a student at 

Edna Libby School, and Owen’s dad, Vinny. Pay a dollar, wear a hat. 

Anyone wishing to donate more, may do so. Anyone who donates a 

check should make it payable to “BEMS”. Let’s work together to help this family out!
