Announcements:
  • Swim Club sign-ups will begin this week.  All those interested, please see Mr. Laprise in room 32 for more information.  Sign-up are limited to 30 participants.  
  • There are still a few seats available for Ski and Snowboard club.  If interested, please see Mrs. Rosier in the main office after the announcements.  It is not too late if you are interested in having a great winter adventure at Shawnee Peak!
  • Would the following students please report to the main office following the announcements?  Josie Giroux,  Chase Graves,  Zachary Hase,  Ben Hulit,  Cody Ricker,  Alanah Tuohey,  and Megan Trask
  • The next Book Club will be Tuesday, Dec. 15th.  There are 5 slots left.  Sign up in the library or email Mrs. Dinino.
  • Student Council will be meeting on Tuesday, December 15th, after school, in Mrs. Norton's room.  They will be wrapping gifts for "The Giving Tree".
  • From now until January 4, yearbooks are on sale for four dollars off! Buy them for $21.00 hardcover, $16.00 paperback. Get them now while the sale lasts. Buy online at jostens.com, or see Mr. DeMaris in Room 83.
  • Student Council is collecting items for Homeless Veterans of Maine.    They are in desperate need of socks, gloves, mittens, hats, coats, and blankets. Donations of new or clean, gently used items may be dropped off in Mrs. Norton's or Mr. Lambert's room.  
  • 7th and 8th grade math teams practice on Wednesdays 2:15 - 4:00 in Mrs. Davis' room, room 84.  Our next math meet is Tues., Feb 2nd.  Please give it a try!!
  • If you would like to be a member of the Community Service Club, please sign up with Mrs. Aiken in the office.  The next meeting will be after the winter break.  Limited to 20 students.

  • Proud of Gabe Daniels, Emily Girard, Alex Laflamme, and Kelsey Daniels, who worked extremely hard since August in preparation for the Maine Robotics FLL Championship.  The season began with 90 teams, and over the weekend, Factor-E walked away with two first place trophies, winning the Innovative Solution Award, and the Robot Finals.  Congratulations, too, to their Little Robot that Could, G.E.A.K.!  Best of luck to our overall state champions, The Tesla Waffles of Kennebunk, as they prepare for the World Festival in April!
