7th & 8th grade students who are interested in joining the Winter pathfinders
team should come to our informational meeting after school this week on
Tuesday for BE students, or Thursday for SCOTS students in room 129.
The winter team is co-ed, so boys or girls are welcome! All students staying
after school will need to be picked up by 4:00 after the meeting by a parent or
guardian. Those students who have already filled out our student survey
(at Pathfinders @BEMS) will find an invitation from Mr. Avery in the school
email. See Mr. Avery in rm. 129 if you have any questions!
The Community Service Club will hold a brief meeting on Google Meet
today at 3:30. Use the invite link to join.
For the month of December, Yearbooks are now on sale for $25, so get them
for this low price while you can! Go to room 154 and see Mr. DeMaris, or
order online at jostens.com.
Student Council is sponsoring “Spirit Days”. Scots “Spirit Days” will be on
Wednesdays and Thursdays: December 9th,10th, 16th, and 17th; BE
“Spirit Days” will be on Mondays and Tuesdays: December 14th, 15th,
21st, and 22nd. Teachers will have the information of what to wear and
which day - the days will be in this order: “School Color/School Spirit Day”;
“Sunny-Funny Day” (dress as though it’s summer!); “Wacky WednesDay”;
and “Holiday Spirit Day”. Show your school spirit by participating!!
Good Morning BEMS Scots. As you know, the cold and stormy months of
Maine’s brutal Winters have begun. With this in mind, the Community
Service Club and the 7th/8th Grade Student Council would like you to
remember our Scots Neighbors who are in need of our help putting food
on their tables during this long Winter Season. You can help them out by
donating non perishable canned & boxed food and personal hygiene items.
Drop-off boxes are located in each Clan Leader’s room! Help us to make
the final week our food drive a success by donating whatever you can.
Chorus students should go to the band room for class. Make sure you
have your laptops, headphones or earbuds and a pencil. 8th Grade Music
class will be in the band room also, but the 7th Grade Music class will be
on the stage. Both classes need laptops.
