It's Turkey Teacher Time for all 6th graders!!!
Buy
as many feathers (for whichever 6th grade teacher) as you want for .25
cents from Baillie Clan. The teacher who has the most feathers by
Thanksgiving vacation, must wear the most embarrassing turkey hat for
the WHOLE day...greeting buses, lunch time, and bus dismissal. Come
on...Let's get feathering!
Swim sign ups are now and limited to first 20 for busing purposes and there is a fee to swim. See Mr. Curtis for more info. More information can be found on our district website.
Every Wednesday the Chess Club meets during 2nd Quarter in room 98.
6th grade dance
and open gym on Thursday, November 20th, from 2:15 - 4:00. Cost is
$5.00 sponsored by Community Service Club! Hotdogs, popcorn and snack
bar will be open!

Student Council collects metal tabs all year long to
donate to the Ronald McDonald House in Portland. Students may bring in
the tabs and put them in the large jar in the library. Please click the
following link to find out how the tabs are used. Thanks in advance
for your help!
Student Council will be holding a "Holiday Door Decorating Contest".
Decorating may not begin before Monday, Dec. 8th and doors must be completed by Monday, Dec. 15th. Judging will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 17th, and winners will be announced on Thursday. Dec. 18th. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated door at each grade level. There is to be no adult involvement. Criteria will be distributed on Monday, Dec. 1st.Student Council will be collecting items to supply Catherine's Cupboard, a local food pantry, from Wed., Nov. 12th until Tuesday, Dec. 2nd. Donations will be made in 7th and 8th grade homerooms/clans. (6th grade will be collecting items for a local animal shelter). Boxes will be provided to homerooms. Please make sure that items are non-perishable; toiletries are acceptable.. A list of suggested items: Suggested Food Pantry Items: peanut butter, jelly, boxed pasta, canned/jarred pasta sauce, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned pie filling, boxed mac and cheese, canned or bottled juices, juice boxes, canned soups, canned meats (ex. tuna), shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, bandaids, shaving cream, lotions, toilet paper
